The Mánes Gallery presents the exhibition Enchanted by Geometry, which offers a unique insight into the world of geometric forms and their artistic interpretation. The retrospective includes a selection from the life’s work of Czech painter and graphic artist Radomír Leszczynský and is complemented by the work of prominent Czech artists Zdeněk Sýkora, Radoslav Kratina, and Tomáš Rajlich.
FOUR ARTISTS – ONE THEME: GEOMETRY IN ART
Radomír Leszczynski uses precise lines and graphic structures to create harmony that draws viewers into a minimalist world of forms. The works of Zdeněk Sýkora, a pioneer of geometric abstraction and generative art in the Czech Republic, reveal the connection between art and mathematics. Radoslav Kratina focuses on kinetic objects, where geometry acquires movement and variability. Tomáš Rajlich, known for his minimalist painting, shows how the power of simple form can create a profound visual experience.
