From June 19 to July 7, 2025, the Mánes Gallery will present a cross-section of the work of one of the most important contemporary Polish artists, Rafał Olbiński. The exhibition invites visitors into a world full of dreams, symbols, and imagination, where reality gently intertwines with mystery.
The Mánes Gallery is proud to present an exhibition of works by Rafał Olbiński – an internationally renowned painter, illustrator, scenographer, poet, and educator. An artist whose visual language combines surrealistic imagery with profound symbolism, poetry, and subtle humor.
Rafał Olbiński is one of the most prominent figures on the European art scene. His distinctive style, developed during his years in the United States, has appealed to audiences and prestigious institutions around the world. He has received more than 150 awards for his work, including gold and silver medals from the Society of Illustrators in New York and Los Angeles, as well as the prestigious Prix Savignac for the Most Significant Poster of the Year in Paris.
The exhibition at the Mánes Gallery will feature both new and older works, which together create a fascinating cross-section of the artist’s work. Each of the works is an entrance into a world full of metaphors, unexpected associations, and dreamlike landscapes that lead the viewer to reflection and wonder. Olbiński’s pictorial universe is not descriptive but evocative – it opens up space for interpretation, imagination, and emotion.
We warmly invite you to visit and immerse yourself in the world of Rafał Olbiński – a world where silence speaks through images, absurdity finds meaning, and poetry reveals itself in every detail.
