A DROP BETTER HOCKEY IN COLORS

The last Extraliga season was exceptional, with several records broken and our best hockey players entertaining sold-out arenas with their skill and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on Extraliga history, just like the Kometa team did in the Masaryk Cup. We would like to keep this spirit alive at the start of the season, with the Mánes Gallery connecting the world of art, the construction of which was supported by President Masaryk, among others.

For six seasons, the hockey community has been joining forces to help children fight blood disorders, and this year will be no different. However, several artists have already joined forces for a good cause to interpret the theme of hockey in their own way. You will have the opportunity to see a charity exhibition of hockey paintings, and two artists will create their works live in the hall during the opening ceremony.

All artists have participated in the project without claiming any fees, and the paintings will subsequently be auctioned on the website obrazyvaukci.cz. An online auction will take place here until October 2.

All proceeds will go to the Kapka naděje Foundation and will be the first activity of the next year of the charity project O Kapku lepší hokej (A Drop Better Hockey), whose main communication takes place not only at Tipsport Extraliga matches at the turn of January and February. We therefore believe that there will be plenty to see, and thanks to the artists, we will increase the current amount of CZK 7.3 million that we have already contributed to various hospital facilities and to the purchase of specialized diagnostic equipment.
