Slávka Krátká cordially invites you to an exhibition that will take place from September 14 to 30 at the Mánes Gallery in Prague. Together with renowned Czech artist Josef Hlinomaz, she will present her paintings, which share a naive style.
Slávka Krátká focuses primarily on painting houses, which she considers to be the most important part of life. The houses in her paintings are not mere structures, but symbols of home, where people are born, live their lives, and ultimately depart.
Josef Hlinomaz, a well-known painter, actor, and comedian, brings humor and playfulness to his work. His paintings are full of exaggeration and irony, which he has managed to transfer from the theater stage and movie screen to the canvas.
During the exhibition, visitors can experience how the paintings come to life before their eyes. Thanks to the Artivive app, they can use their mobile phones to bring the paintings to life and let them tell the stories hidden within them.
