Czech Design Week returns for its 13th edition from 10 to 13 September 2026, showcasing current work in design and art across several venues in Prague. The annual festival offers a snapshot of what is currently being created on the Czech and international scenes and, alongside established designers, brands and studios, places a particular focus on a new generation of talent.

The Mánes Gallery will once again bring together nearly one hundred designers, studios, brands, art and design schools and other creatives. From glass, furniture and product design to fashion, jewellery, experimental work and new technologies, Mánes will offer a broad cross-section of contemporary design. The exhibition programme will be accompanied by talks, discussions and other events focusing on contemporary design, creative practice and topics currently resonating across design and culture.

This year, Czech Design Week also expands to additional venues across Prague. For its fourth edition, the New Generation exhibition will take place for the first time in the main building of the Prague City Museum at Florenc, presenting an emerging generation of Czech and Slovak artists and designers. The exhibition is curated by Anna Pulkertová for art section and Lukáš Pipek for design section. Another part of the festival will take place at the House at the Golden Ring in cooperation with ABC magazine. Other festival venues include the Rothmayer Villa, Volman Villa, Café Slavia, Artisème in Malá Strana and selected design stores in central Prague.
